Hello everybody

My name is Marko Saarni and I am living nowadays in Sipoo, southern Finland. My roots are in Finnish west coast, Satakunta area, and that's why I am what I am ;)

My family includes my wife Mari and four flat coated retrievers.

Blood tracking has been part of my life from early 90's. First only tracking tests and later also finding accidentally hurted or in hunting situation wounded animals from the forest.

Because of increasing numbers of the car accidents with deers and elks, the blood tracking is very important and good hunting dogs are needed allover the Finland. 

For me this principal of the real meaning of the tracking tests is very important. In tracking tests the dog owners can measure their dogs blood tracking skills. 

I'm waiting to see all of you and your excellent dogs in Finland 2.8.2026, and I wish you all the best luck in Nordic Tracking Championship 2026.
